I've been told that players with personal machines and kits can't request the addon. That true?

If the owner fills that out with all of their information (and completely agrees to any of the terms and conditions) I don't see why if they own the game they will be left out. For example my machine (although I do not own Pro) is in a business and if I owned Pro I could fill this out, with the business name as well as have it mailed there... However does that make me - also a player any more trustworthy than any of the other machine owners out there? There are some that would not dare mess with files but I can name quite a few companies that deliberately put simfiles (before there was an R21) on ITG2 cabinets to increase profits without paying anything so I wouldn't think there would be a bias against in home Pro machine owners just because of actions of a few people or companies.

I, at Flakkmonkey Entertainment (the form requires a company name :P ), just put in the request for the song pack.

I think there is a chance that Kyle and his team will do some rejects on very few people. It's no big secret that some people will take this patch and make it a free download for everyone which could be bad for the future add-ons you need to pay. People would download them instead of paying then, Also some people might take the patch and somehow use it to make their own add-ons.

I think what Kyle and co is doing gather the information (like the serial code) and use it to make it that the patch will only work on that machine.

Sadly I'm not too sure if this plan will work well. After all the ITG Team did try to stop the hacking of their machines and well as you may see, it didn't work too well.

actually, from what i (think i) know, the reason you need a SN is that the addons will only work on one machine.

But i could be totally wrong

This will probably happen anyway, so not giving out the pack to some cab owners with this reasoning would be very unjust. I would be pised off for sure if I had bought a PIU:Pro myself and wouldn't be given the songs pack.

Honestly, from what Im hearing from other operators at the moment, Andamiro/Whoever is making this WAY too complicated and hard to obtain. I mean seriously, proof of purchase with papers? I honestly dont think many operators are going to go through the trouble of trying to get the pack of only 12 songs and if I wasnt closely tied to the community and had a Pro machine at our store, I wouldnt want to go through this much to get a small addition like this. I understand you dont want it cracked/hacked/sprinkled into other games but at least make it a little easier on us. Thats just my 2-cents.

too bad that every PRO of finland belongs to PELIKA, finnish arcade game manufacturer (is that right word?) and those guys arent some "hay, gimme that key, i update this dedicat." bagging doesnt help kus get that patch, and it would be world- class miracle to have song pack, im sure pelika isnt interestes to order that.
(we dont even have R21 on ITG's)

Please do not post stuff like this when you have no clue. This has already been sorted out with Pelika.net and the pack will be installed on all 3 machines.

The R21 is a very different thing, because it is restricted by law. Pelika.net would gladly update to R21/R23 otherwise. Get your facts straight.

The problem I see here with this, is arcades who lease their games. Turns out if your arcade leases the game from a company, the arcade can not order the encore pack. It MUST be ordered by the lease company who purchased the machine. This is a little bit out of control, as it has to go from the arcade is in, out across country, then back over to the arcade itself from the leasing company. Absolutely a pain in the ass that I really don't think many arcades will go through to obtain only 12 new songs.

I know this form says for *operators* only. It seems not even the operators can get these updates, ONLY the owners... Maybe that should be changed?
