I think Solitary 2 may have been removed from the game, since I couldn't find it last night. Someone in Vancouver should check the next time they go play.

Might as well get some quick reviews in.

Who: The two 16th jackhammers seemed...well, they work, but they don't. Other than that (and the "hand"), it's an alright chart.

Incognito: Definitely got good turning. The big 16th stream in there seems...I don't know: out of place. The two 32nd bursts could work...but it would have worked better if the chart was harder overall for me. And for all of the twisting, where are the M runs?

Infection: First of all, good (and creepy) background. As far as the steps go...I like the use of triples in this song. I like how most of the refrain parts involved learning some form of twisting/turning. What I didn't like was how most of the 16th bursts were often on just two arrows. Spread them out a bit. Oh yeah: that last jump would have worked as a good triple.

If this statement is meant to apply to "Infection", I'd respond by saying that that song is really complicated for a 10-block. I'm not sure how I even passed it. "Who" is appropriate for an 8-block. "Incognito" though, for a 9-block, may be a bit easy in general.

Yeah, first time I played that, it was a "wtf?" moment, and I failed.

The simplicity of the 16th bursts helps you to not get screwed after going for the handplants. Oh wait...I'm the only one who actually does handplants...

What you can't see in the video is me getting ready for a handplant, and then having to correct myself.

I was referring to Who.

The first half looks good, but those freezes in the middle look pretty awkward.

Ok, here goes MY take on the three stepcharts that got posted...I'm taking the timings from the videos and only saying all of this since stepchart discussions can be interesting.

Who: Easily the best of the bunch. Since there are only small things to complain about, I'll bring up the small points here. Thoughts from the beginning to the end...first, the worst part of the beginning is the first turn, but that's not saying much plus that's about all I can be picky about until about a 240 combo. The turn at 240 right before the hold exchanges start, though...doesn't work. Same goes with the two turns before the hold with the triple (around 1:35). The double steps...seem to work, I'd say. The only other minor complaint would be that the next-to-last hold should be on another step (the last hold and step would have to be altered to account for that); something about them seems not optimal. The subdued last step is great, though...overall, there's very little to complain about. Most of it looks like a lot of fun. Nice chart.

Infection: Ok, around 65 combo...those exchanges (until the triple hold) look like...testing the player on "basic patterns, just rotated 90 degrees". It doesn't appear to have a point. From there until 1:30, my major complaint is the longest drills. The four-bar ones that come after the triples (around 1:16 and 1:27) make the whole section look sluggish and boring; if those were made into more interesting non-drill runs, the entire section would be far more interesting and actually very good. There's nothing else serious until about 1:47, when the chorus (?) comes back in; this looks like another "test with not much of a point" along the lines of that which was around 65 combo. After the triple hold, there are no real complaints; getting picky would be necessary at this point. Just to put this out there, I like the subdued last step; a lot of the Inspector K/KaW songs seem to be made for that kind of end. Overall, the chorus parts need to be redone, though the rest only needs tweaks.

Incognito: I really like the last 15 seconds. The turns until the drill/drill/semi-drill in the middle (sixteenth exchange) appear to come from nowhere and go nowhere; since that idea is continued after the sixteenth exchange...this one doesn't work. When the rhythm changes in the section before the 16th exchange, the way that the turning is done doesn't, so the rhythm change doesn't do anything to save it.

Oh, almost forgot.

There is a noticeable lack of galloping at 1:40, 1:47, 1:54, and 2:01 (corresponding to my video). Each time, there is just a 16th note. There should be a quarter note right after each.

As it concerns Who, all of it turns as long as nothing is double stepped. Pretty basic turning, at that.

Here are a couple added songs I noticed today (from memory).

Banzai - Anubis
KURi-ZiLL - Heel and Toe
Oscillator X - DJ Superstar
Virgill - Art City

1TYM - Hot
BanYa - Dance With Me
BanYa - Emperor
BanYa - Oh Rosa
BanYa - Papa Gonzalas
Lexy - Greenhorn
Louis - Chung Hwa Ban Jeom
Novasonic - Slam

Solitary 2 is definitely not in the game.

weird, the hand that was in the Crazy stepchart in the video Zeta Aspect posted is gone now. The rest of the chart seems identical, but there is no hand for the WHOOOOOO part.

(which isn't a good change IMO, because if there's any part of any song that deserves a hand, it's the mighty mighty WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

Who (Nightmare)
Heel and Toe (Nightmare) <—- I'd think those runs would push this out of the 10 range.

I can see why they'd change that part, considering how every comment about that stepchart before criticized the use of that hand.

Seems as though people prefer to be more vocal when they complain, but not as much if they like the charts which surface through videos.

Edit: If I could request a couple more videos, how about Oasis and Zodiac Nightmare?
