1) We have just received 2 complaints about this issue so far. We will inspect it and see if it can be improved. If there is enough demand for this change (more complaints then currently received) we will look at adjusting it for the next patch. Making it an operator option is not the best solution because different machines will have different settings.

Well add another one then because I completely agree on Sunshine the arrows blend in the background and it is hard to see.

Edit- Half Double is gonna be great fun, any possibility of seeing a few of the charts for a preview? Also what would be the difficulty range of the them?

Sounds like a specific fix, not an overall problem...We will look into this though, thank you for the feedback.

Oops, to be more specific; Sunshine is the one that sticks out the most to me but I know there are a few others. For the most part the videos are fine though probably just worth a look at videos that have a lot of red and blue.

I am going to try to take some preview videos tonight. If you'd like to make a few requests feel free to do so. I will be limited to new Nightmares and Half Doubles for the time being, so none of the add on pack songs will be able to be filmed as of yet.

I almost have the HDB difficulty list taken care of right now.

I'd really like to see a preview of Emperor NM if that's in the cards.

I don't have a specific song in mind I just would like to see more of a "harder" half double and a "fun" half double all opinion but just something that sticks out in your mind as hard or fun would be great.

Making it an operator setting is not the best solution for this problem. Doing so will cause machines with different settings for players to be confused with.

I actually thought that this was a widely known and whined over issue. The most common thing that players here in Finland complain to the arcade owning company (3 PIU Pro machines so far) is the bg brightness, so I imagined that they would have taken up the issue with you guys. Neverthless, it is a problem which I've seen lots of people complain over irl and on the net, so some sort of action should probably be taken. It's - of course - up to you to decide what you do about it. It's not a big deal for us what ever the solution is since our community has good co-operation with the arcade owning company.

Kyle Ward wrote:2) This sounds like a voltage problem with the USB stick. I will report and make note of it since you indicated it here. Thank you. We will look into it and attempt to do something if possible.

As with the bg brightness, I thought that this was a reported issue. Glad to know that you are going to work on fixing the problem, since DataTraveler is probably the most used USB stick around here.

Kyle Ward wrote:3) Our way of handling mini has not changed in a long while. The new handling of mini was done because of how it previously would draw redundant arrows. (From an SM engine standpoint, It changed during the production of ITG PS2, but has not changed since that time.)

So basically this means ...? No decision yet on any change, no change going to be made, a change coming, ...?

Possible to get a list of the song re-ratings too? That would be lovely, so we could give hints if we think that something was missed. ;)

I currently do not have the full set of data to do this at the moment. This will probably have to wait for Kyle to find the time to post the re-ratings. If anyone at the test location would be nice enough to do a scroll through of the song wheel that would be a good indication of most of the changes until a formal list can be compiled.

Adding half doubles is a cool idea and will definitely get me playing again, since i'm not quite skilled enough to do most NM charts.

The list of improvements/fixes sounds decent enough. I still think the option of having "score data" of some kind show on the off-side of the screen when playing 1-player would be a cool addition. It could be customized via USB, so that it shows as little or much info as the player wants.

Hopefully 8 on the Break gets this patch soon, active playerbase has been fairly lacking there as of late.

I'm going to shoot myself in the head repeatedly while trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with Can Can NM. I seem to remember it being unthinkably painful. Aside from that, very excited ^^~

Also if need, once the patch actually comes out I can pretty much test or make record of pretty much anything else
